This remarkably simple training aid provides highly valuable feedback for you to build an efficient and repeatable putting stroke.   The Putting Horse will prove to you that your putter head actually arcs due to the shaft angle and your setup posture, even though the putter shaft goes back on a straight line.  You can place the putter shaft on top of the rod or under it, especially if you tend to be an out-to-in putter.

The legs can be placed up against a wall (see photo below) or you can secure it using your feet if you place the putter shaft on top of the rod. And, because it comes in pieces that connect together, you can easily set it up or break it down so it fits in your golf bag.
